About the role: 

As Sales Development Representative (SDR) with Oaky, you are responsible for identifying, prospecting and closing online demos with new hotels. To your advantage, you will work closely with experienced sales colleagues who are excited to help you grow. You will work alongside a young, international and energetic team. With Oaky you will experience a true start-up, a tight team feeling and a place where you make a real impact every day.

About you:

We are looking for a new sparkling addition to our Amsterdam-based team. You’re a driven person who loves to sell. You have drive and you sparkle with your positive energy. Supporting the Sales Manager, your one-and-only goal is to book as many online demos as you can. This is the perfect starting role for the Sales Enthusiast, and you have no troubles with making 50+ calls per day. 

What you will do:

  • You’re responsible to introduce Oaky to new hotels
  • Together with the Sales Manager, create and execute a strategy to efficiently enter new territories, and approach the right hospitality partners
  • Target, prospect, qualify and book online demos with the future customers of Oaky
  • Create a real interest for Oaky’s solution, by identifying problems and potential areas of improvements with your prospects.
  • Keep an organised 
  • Identify and drive expansion within your territories
  • Help change the Hotel Tech landscape with a friendly, innovative and fresh approach

We are looking for someone who is

  • Multi-tasker: Working with multiple deadlines and tasks should be as easy as breathing.  
  • Rockstar: You thrive in a demanding environment, do not shy away from taking ownership of things you think could be done better and have an insatiable drive to make these changes. 
  • Multilingual: On top of perfect English, you speak at least one of these languages on a native level:
    German/Arabic/French/Italian/Dutch/Swedish  

Start date: Immediate
Location: Amsterdam
Salary: Very competitive 
Role: Full time, Valid work status in the Netherlands
Experience: 1+ year relevant experience in business development in the hotel tech industry, or selling at a SaaS Company
Relevant studies: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, Economics or other relevant field
