Internship: Customer Support Champion (Amsterdam)

Customer service goes beyond just answering the phone, responding to a chat or solving a ticket. At Oaky, customer service is all about understanding what are the current needs of our customers and anticipating their future needs. 

This Customer Service role is a natural fit for someone who has a warm personality, is a champion at taking ownership of a client's problems, solving them, and can stay as cool as a cucumber when things get a bit hot. If you love solving tricky questions, technical puzzles intrigue you, but also know the importance of following up with customers and reaching out to them when their problems are fixed, then you are the Customer Support Champion we are looking for. 

What you will do:

  • Provide friendly and accurate customer support via different channels such as phone, live chat or email 
  • Consult customers on best practices of using their Oaky 
  • Optimise the Customer Service processes 
  • Become familiar with integrations-related procedures 
  • Take ownership of the Support KPI’s and create a strategy in order to achieve them
  • Maintain the support documentation for our customers 
  • Keep the internal knowledge base up-to-date
  • Be the voice of the customer internally with the Customer Success & Product Team.  

What we are looking for someone who is:

  • A good communicator: You are the voice of Oaky, so you need to be articulate, friendly and empathetic in your interactions with our customers. For example, we expect you to be able to explain what Segmentation in marketing means to someone’s grandparent!
  • A mind reader: No, not really. But it would be awesome if you can identify the exact problem our customers have and act accordingly. 
  • Structured: Staying structured in your work is an art, and we are looking for a master. If you are not there yet, we will help you get there.  
  • Awesome: It's not really a big ask. We love to work with fun, warm and driven people who can kick ass at work, but also know how to have fun on the side. Your positivity and enthusiasm are infectious, you love to get things done and do not shy away from taking ownership of things you think could be done better and have an insatiable drive to learn.
  • Multi-lingual: We are expanding globally, the more languages you master, the better.

Start date: Immediate
Role: Full time, Valid work and living status in the Netherlands
Language required: Native English level
Remuneration: 300 euros/month

Bonus points if:

  • You speak at least one of these languages at a native level: Dutch/German/French
  • You have experience in the travel/hospitality sector 
  • You know how to use some Excel power functions and are not afraid of learning a tiny bit of SQL
  • Wanting to start a career in Customer Success, in a SaaS startup

Internship: Onboarding Specialist (Amsterdam)

The sooner our customers start using Oaky, the sooner they realize the value of it. Hence, it is our mission to help our customers implement Oaky in an easy, fast and effortless way and start generating incremental revenues as soon as possible. 

If you have a warm personality, you’re not afraid of a challenge, are structured in your work and every now and then love to solve a puzzle for a customer, then you are the Onboarding Specialist we are looking for at Oaky. On a day-to-day basis, you will be in contact with our customers, helping them connect their systems with Oaky and showing them how to get the most out of the tool in the first few weeks of using it. 

What you will do:

  • Understand the customer's needs, systems and apply one of the several onboarding flows for them
  • Kick-off calls to start implementation projects for larger customers
  • Host webinars for chain implementations
  • Configuring integrations and offering technical support
  • Maintain thorough customer documentation
  • Keep the internal knowledge base up-to-date
  • Initiate and coordinate operations improvement projects
  • Optimise the onboarding workflow on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with other related departments (Sales, Customer Success) to maximise customer satisfaction during the onboarding phase

We are looking for someone who is

  • Master of Zen: Not everyone is responsive or easy to explain things to, you have to be cool, calm and keep at it in a user-friendly way until they get it!
